From a young age the founder of Fabrik was taught the delicate art of needlework under the watchful eye of her grandmother. The seed was sown and a love of handicrafts and fine fabrics blossomed so much so that she planned a future in fashion and textiles studying at the University of Technology, Sydney. Her work took her on a journey with Art Park and Lee Mathews for many years. But it was during maternity leave that the inspiration for Fabrik was born and of course her beautiful daughter is her model and muse. |
