| thom thom babywear is the lovechild of Australian fashion designer Sandra Thom.
The range grew out of a desire to make sweet one-off pieces with an eclectic & bohemian old world charm -- little heirlooms to keep.
Each garment is made from vintage cotton prints, plain new & tea dyed cottons and soon to be incorporated Fair trade Organic fabrics. Every item is individually pieced together, French seemed, stitched and appliquéd by hand in Australia.
The thom thom signature is in the hand stitched details & the combination of vintage prints, spots, florals, stripes, geometrics & pretty vintage pastel prints or vivid brights. As with Sandra Thom womens wear hand stitching is used to pull together each garment, highlighting contrasting print flower appliqués, silk bows or little love heart pocket details. |
