Bedroom inspiration created by Petite Vintage Interiors

Nearly 12 months ago we bought a new house. It was the perfect opportunity to engage Petite Vintage Interiors to create a gorgeous space for our 2 year old daughter. The brief was to create a room that was age appropriate, design forward and unique.

Over several emails and mood boards between Petite Vintage Interiors and Tinypeople, the colour palette was the first detail locked in, grey, white, a peachy-blushy-nude (or biscuit as La Cerise Su Le Gateau call it) and petrol for added punch. The second was the use of geometric shapes (see wall decals custom made by Urban Walls). Following that, it was a waiting game for the right items to become available at the right time.

As we entered buying season last July, it was soon evident that our ideas were spot on with next seasons trends and everything simply 'came together'.

On installation day the Petite Vintage Interiors team came to us. It took around 3 hours for them to work their magic. Our kids were extremely excited by all of the activity and the lucky little lady was clearly pleased with the outcome (see the last image). Her room is now a space of choice for the kids to play.
