Exchange & Refund Policy

Fuss Free Exchange.

Tiny People would like you to feel confident in ordering online.

If you find your clothing or footwear selection is not what you expected, the right colour or size, simply visit 14 days of your order.

For a sizing issue or change of mind, assuming the criteria is met, a store credit or exchange will be granted.

Some exclusions apply, see below for details.


What items can be exchanged?

Exchange will be granted when the item is in original condition, ie unused, unworn and with all labels and protective stickers intact.  

Please take care when trying on shoes to ensure the soles do not mark until you are confident with your purchase.

What items cannot be exchanged or refunded?

We do not accept exchange on the following items if you simply change your mind or found it cheaper somewhere else:

  • if you live outside of Australia and your order has been shipped.
  • all items discounted via promotion code or on sale.
  • skincare.
  • prints, wall hangings, mobiles.
  • homeware, interiors.
  • teepees and canopies.
  • lights.
  • storage items, hooks, shelves.
  • wings, wands, crowns, capes and dress ups.
  • toys, dolls.
  • books.
  • handbags, purses, backpacks.


Can I get a refund?

Refunds will be granted in the unlikely event that a major problem exists. This is when the item:

  • is significantly different from the sample or description.
  • has a problem that would have stopped you from buying the item if you had known about it.
  • is unsafe.
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.


How can I arrange an exchange or store credit?

Simply contact us via email at within 14 days of receiving your goods. If you would like to exchange your items, please confirm the style, size and colour you would like. You will also need to provide a pre-paid postal satchel.

Shipping fees will not be refunded or added to store credit values.

I cannot find anything I like to exchange my item for, what happens now?

You can obtain a store credit which is valid for 6 months.

In approved instances where a refund is granted a 20% restocking fee may be charged to cover our costs, such as full shipping, merchant charges and handling costs.

Do I need an exchange reference number?

Yes, please contact us prior to sending the goods to us obtain a reference number. This number ensure we can easily identify the exchange transaction.

Where do I send my items?

Once you have obtained your exchange reference please return the goods to:

Please include a pre-paid postage satchel for all exchanges. Alternatively we can provide one for $9.95.

Can I exchange swimwear?

Swimwear can be exchanged providing protective stickers remain intact. Do not remove them until you are certain about your purchase.

When will be refund or exchange be processed?

Exchanges and refunds will be processed within 72 hours of receiving the item, you will receive email confirmation that this is complete.

All refunds will exclude shipping charges.

My item is out of stock, what happens now?

Tiny People apologises for items that are out of stock. We will advise you immediately and allow you the opportunity to cancel your order or help with an alternative product.

For all exchanges, please provide a return pre-paid satchel. Alternatively we can provide one for $9.95 within Australia, $15 to NZ and $20 elsewhere.
